When you enquire, book a trial or become a member, we collect the details you give us: your name, contact details, emergency contact, and any health information you choose to share so we can keep you safe on the mats. For kids’ classes we collect a parent or guardian’s details, not the child’s.
We use your details to run your membership, tell you about class changes, gradings, seminars and events, and keep our records straight. Payments are handled by our booking and payment providers, and we never see or store your full card details.
We never sell your information, and we never pass it to anyone outside the academy and the providers who run our booking, payment and email systems.
We sometimes photograph and film classes, seminars and events for the website and our social channels. If you’d rather stay out of frame, tell any coach and we’ll make sure of it. We always ask before featuring kids.
Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. One message sorts any of it.
