Christchurch Championship
Parklands Community Centre
Over the weekend, the Carlson Gracie New Zealand teams competed in the Christchurch Championship held at Parklands Community Centre. Carlson Gracie Queenstown, Invercargill, Wanaka, and South Canterbury teams were all in attendance. The teams took home 18 gold medals, 10 silver medals, and 10 bronze medals with over 25 athletes in attendance from the 4 clubs.
Big thanks to the Coaches Jose Gomes, Fabio Carvalho, and Renan Secco from the Queenstown Team, Riki Swete from the South Canterbury Team, and Peter Aberdeen from the Invercargill Team.
Congratulations to all the athletes who came to compete this weekend! Let’s get back to the mats and prepare for the King of the South III happening on the 14th of November 2020. #KeepGrinding #CGNZ
